· Name: Wu Jun (courtesy name: Chengyuan)

· Born: 1987 in Badou Town, Longquan City, Lishui, Zhejiang Province, into a family with a long tradition of Longquan celadon craftsmanship

· Upbringing: Grew up in Shangyang, immersed from childhood in the artistic atmosphere surrounding celadon-making

Education & Training

· Apprenticeship: In 2006, became a disciple of Li Zhiming (grandson of celebrated Longquan celadon master Li Huaide), where he received traditional training in glaze formulas and forming techniques

· Higher Education: Graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic University, majoring in Ceramic Art and Design

Career & Achievements

· Recognized as a Master of Arts and Crafts of Lishui City and a representative inheritor of intangible cultural heritage in Longquan City

· Member of the Zhejiang Federation of Literary and Art Circles’ “New Heights in Visual Arts” initiative and the China Folk Artists Association

· 2017: Won the Gold Prize at the 2nd China (Shenzhen) International Tea Ware Design Competition with his work “Following Circle, Arriving at Square”

· 2018: His piece “Ge” was acquired by the Zhejiang Provincial Museum, and a “String-Pattern Plum Vase” was collected by the Hangzhou West Lake State Guest House

· 2019: Organized ceramic culture exchange exhibitions in Seoul, South Korea, and Madrid, Spain
